On Monday, April 11, India reported 861 fresh cases along with 6 fresh deaths and 929 recoveries, as per the data updated by the Union Health Ministry. With a fresh update, the nation's tally of Covid-19 cases has reached 4,30,36,132 with the death tally rising to 5,21,691, and the recovery tally has climbed to 4,25,02,454 said the ministry. At present, the active caseload in the nation stands at 11,058. 

The active cases comprise 0.03 percent of the total tally and the nation's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.76 percent. In a span of 24 hours, the active caseload has been reduced by 74 cases. As per the ministry's latest update, the daily positivity rate stands at 0.25 percent and the weekly positivity rate stands at 0.23 percent. 

Booster shots delay in Goa 

Due to the unavailability of vaccine doses, the government of Goa has delayed the vaccination drive for the administration of the booster dose, reported NDTV. 

West Bengal 

There are 457 active cases in the state with 47 patients being hospitalized, along with 41 recoveries in the last 24 hours the recovery tally in the state has reached 19,96,025, as per the State's health bulletin. 

Delhi 

On Sunday, the national capital reported 141 fresh cases of Covid-19, as per the health department. The positivity rate of the city stands at 1.29 percent, said the department.
