On Saturday, The Union Health Ministry has uploaded the data which said, India has registered 42,618 new cases alongwith 330 new deaths and 36,385 new recoveries. Total active cases in the country stands at above 4 lakh for first time in 26 days. Total cases in the country hve reached 3,29,45,907. However, active cases have reached 4,05,681, caseload of total recoveries have reached to 3,21,00,001 and death toll stands at 4,40,225.  

Kerala reports 29.3k new cases and 131 new deaths, Maharashtra registers 4.3k new cases and 92 deaths, Tamil Nadu reports 1.6k new cases and 19 deaths. 

58.86 lakh new vaccinations were administered in the last 24 hours. 40.51 lakh people have received their first dose yesterday and 18.35 lakh people have received their second dose of vaccination against Covid-19. 

On Friday, Mumbai became the first district to complete one crore vaccinations against Covid-19, according to CoWin data. A total of 1,00,60,411 crore vaccine doses have been administered on Friday, covering 78% of the adult population with at least one shot.
