On Saturday, India has reported 22,270 fresh Covid-19 cases and 325 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per the data published by the Union Health Ministry. The ministry said that India's active caseload currently stands at 2,53,739. Current recovery rate stands at 98.21%. With 60,298 recoveries reported in the last 24 hours, the total number of people cured of the disease has reached to 4,20,37,536. 

As per the ministry, a total of 75.81cr tests have been conducted so far, including 12,35,471 tests administered in the last 24 hours. Daily positivity rate has reached at 1.80%, while Weekly Positivity Rate is standing at 2.50%. 

Vaccination Status 

The vaccination drive coverage which began on January 3, 2022 for those aged between 15-18 years has crossed 174.99 crore (1,74,99,61,545). It includes more than 32 lakh (32,92,516) vaccine doses that have been administered till 7 pm on Friday, said the health ministry in its press release. 

Covid-19 in Delhi 

Delhi has reported 607 fresh Covid-19 cases along with four deaths in the last 24 hours.

As per the health bulletin published by the Delhi government, the active number of Covid-19 patients in the city has reached to 2,775. Meanwhile, 854 people recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours. 

Covid-19 cases in Mizoram 

Mizoram has reported 1,151 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. Active cases stand at 9,919, according to official data released today.
