On Wednesday, India has reported 4,575 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 145 fresh fatalities in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the Health Ministry. With this the death toll in the country has reached to 5,15,355. 

As per the ministry, the total active Covid-19 cases have dropped to 46,962, which was 0.11 per cent of the total cases. In the last 24 hours, the country has recorded 7,416 recoveries and the recovery rate has reached to 98.69 per cent. 

The daily positivity rate, further decreased to 0.51 per cent and weekly positivity rate stands at 0.62 percent, said the health ministry. 

Covid-19 Tests and Vaccinations 

As per the data, so far, the nation has conducted 77.52 crore Covid-19 tests, of which 8.97 lakh Covid tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The country has administered 179.33 crore vaccine doses till now, under the nationwide vaccination drive. 

South Korea records daily high Cases 

South Korea logs a new record daily high 342,446 Covid-19 cases, along with 158 related fatalities. 

Telangana reports 91 fresh Cases 

On Tuesday, Telangana has recorded 91 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 241 more recoveries, taking the total number of Covid-19 cases and recoveries to 7,89,951 and 7,84,465 respectively.
