A case has been pressed against a lady who has roughed up Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Girish Mahajan in a massive traffic jam occasioned by a BJP Mahila Jan Akrosh Morcha rally in Worli, Mumbai. When the woman, who was caught up in the jam as she took her child to school, got out of her car, she yelled at the minister to move out of the road and clear the road.
She employed inappropriate language and asked herself why the rally has been organized in busy roads rather than in an open field. Video recordings of the heated exchange became virally popular. She, in turn, filed a complaint accusing her of creating a ruckus, being abusive, and providing a disturbance to the people. Worli Station police have filed a case against the organizers of the rally along with taking legal action on the basis of the complaint against the woman. It has created a controversy on social media regarding political rallies and people being inconvenienced.
