An outrageous video was circulated resembling an eye-opener on the internet in the city of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, where a protective father flogs a young man who is believed to have harassed his daughter in a movie theater. The accident occurred on Monday night in Gurudev Palace Talkies, Rawatpur region, as the family was viewing a movie, Dhurandhar 2.

Reportedly, the accused young man, who was seated next to the young lady in the dark hall, molested the young woman. She gave the alarm at once and woke other people. Her father recognized the harasser after the screening was over outside the theater, and after confronting him angrily, he started striking and battering him. The alleged onlookers and spectators also joined in the thrashing, according to reports, as the youth pleaded to spare his life.

The accused was later transferred to the police by the father. The shocking video, which filmed the encounter of the people, has generated a great amount of response on social media, with people applauding the father defending himself against harassment and others arguing about vigilante justice.
