Here are some graphic images and videos taken of the car, which graphic readers and videographers found after Suvendu Adhikari's trusted personal assistant, Chandranath Rath, was killed in the Madhyamgram section of Kolkata on the night of May 6.

During the near-at-hand attack, the whites have multiple bullet holes, especially in the front-left window of the vehicle, which is shattered. Motorcycle riders had targeted the speeding car with at least four bullets, and Rath was hit three times, including once in his head, chest, and abdomen. He was captured dead on arrival. His driver was also injured.

It took place in a relatively empty section of Jessore Road, just a few kilometers away from Rath's home. Police officers have found the bullet casings at the scene and are probing the targeted killing.

Suvendu Adhikari says that it is a preplanned murder after days of searching. The pictorial presentation has fueled anger on Yamuna after the assembly elections in West Bengal, in which there have been some reports of post-poll violence. The case has prompted calls for an immediate and fair investigation.
