A video of a poet and former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, Kumar Vishwas, that is old has spread immensely on social media after the recent demotion of a Rajya Sabha MP, Raghav Chadha. Even in the podcast/video about 1.5 years ago, Vishwas publicly addressed the issue of internal power relations at AAP and stated that despite increasing popularity, Raghav Chadha will ultimately become a target of the top management.
Vishwas said things such as "ye kharab hai, ise hatao" (this one is bad; he will not be spared) and "isko nahi chhodega" (he cannot leave him alone and build following), which implied that no face can become too big or get too many people following him in the Arvind Kejriwal administration. He called Chadha a balak (youngster) and one who acquired visibility abruptly but had no deep roots in the party.
The timing of the video's coming back is crucial, though with AAP replacing Chadha as deputy leader with Ashok Mittal, this video resurfaced mere seconds after AAP took over. Some are terming the words of Vishwas as prophetic, and some are also considering it to be a kind of factionalism of long time in the party. The video message that Chadha had previously released stated that he was silenced, not defeated. The scandal still reigns in politics.
