Prime Minister Narendra Modi has posted his third Instagram video in a short span, continuing his direct outreach to the youth. In the latest reel, the Prime Minister announced the formation of a high-powered task force led by Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani to comprehensively reform India’s examination system.

The move comes in the backdrop of widespread concerns over paper leaks, including the recent NEET controversy. Modi said the task force would focus on improving transparency, strengthening security measures and restoring public trust and accountability in the exam process.

His earlier selfie-style Instagram videos had already created a massive stir, with one reel crossing 300 million views within 24 hours and helping him gain nearly a million new followers overnight. By choosing Instagram Reels as the medium, Modi is clearly prioritising direct communication with students and Gen Z audiences. The announcement is expected to shape the next phase of education and exam-related reforms in the country.
