The images of Russian-born yogini Annapurna Nath performing the rare and difficult Nine-Dhuni Agnishtak Bhakti in Pushkar, Rajasthan, have seen a social media frenzy. The dedicated sadhvi appears as a person in intense meditations, with nine sacred fire pits located around her, while pursuing the path of spiritual realization for her Lord, Shiva, to achieve peace for the world.
This is the Sanskrit word for "extreme exposure to extreme heat through meditation" and is one of the primitive forms of austerity. While practicing the tantric furrow, Annapurna Nath, who has been staying in India for several years and follows the teachings of the Nath discipline, started it on May 3 and is going to continue till May 25.
They are mesmerized by her dedication and consider her to be a strong role model in the devotion to Sanatan Dharma with the help of devotees and internet users. It's thought to provoke intense internal change and spiritual cleansing. Her photographs taken in the holy city of Pushkar have been the subject of many discussions about yoga, tapasya, and travelling through different cultures for spiritual experiences.
