A fresh twist has come to light in the high-profile case of Twisha Sharma's death. A key witness says he was attacked and threatened by friends of Twisha Sharma's husband, Samarth Singh, in Bhopal, and was recorded on CCTV cameras, casting doubts on the witness's safety. 

Neeraj Dubey, the witness, owns a beauty salon close to where Samarth Singh's family lives in Katara Hills of Bhopal. On May 30, he says he was attacked by four or five men, who were thought to be associates of Samarth Singh, who confronted him about his role as a witness in the case. 

The viral CCTV footage shows the attackers forcing Dubey not to become a witness, pushing him aggressively about why he is becoming a witness, beating him, and warning him of more consequences. 

The man didn't take any action against the persons named; Dubey had written a complaint to the police after the assault. 

The CBI, now at the most crucial stage of the investigation, recently reconstructed the crime scene and is keen to investigate possible discrepancies in the medical reports and first-in-the-scene police investigations.
