The tension in the Middle East started to boil as Iran launched its ballistic missiles, which were directed to the Israeli commercial capital of Tel Aviv and struck it overnight. There have been direct hits in the heartland locations that include explosions around major assets and cluster ammunitions scattered with destruction in residential properties, streets, and civilian properties. The emergency services in Israel said there were dozens of people injured, some of them seriously, one of the largest numbers that have been killed by a single Iranian onslaught since the conflict escalated. Although Israel had an Iron Dome and other defense systems that intercepted most of their projectiles, others did not, causing fires and structural damage in Tel Aviv and other cities in the South, such as Rishon LeZion. Prime Minister Netanyahu called the absence of mass killings a miracle, but mass war exhaustion over residents as frequent sirens and civil mayhem. Iran reported the strikes to be part of retaliation for the previous incidents. The threat of regional escalation through friends such as Hezbollah has increased as a result of the attack. The situation is deteriorating, and the international calls to de-escalate the conflict are becoming urgent.
