Actress Trisha Krishnan has broken her silence with cryptic Instagram Stories following the controversy over DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin’s alleged double-meaning remark.

During a Cauvery water protest in Thanjavur, crowd members chanted Trisha’s name while Udhayanidhi was criticising Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay. His response was widely interpreted as a suggestive comment linking the actress and the CM, sparking backlash, a police complaint, and his brief arrest.

Days later, Trisha posted pictures from her grandmother’s 98th birthday and shared messages including “Drama at this age is embarrassing… Go make some money and find peace” along with “What a privilege it is to be overwhelmed by a life you once prayed for.”

She did not name anyone, yet the timing led many to view the posts as an indirect response. Her mother also shared a similar note advising people to “mind your business.” The episode continues to fuel discussion in Tamil Nadu’s political and entertainment circles.
