Towards the sad demise of his daughter Twisha Sharma, her father Navnidhi Sharma has charged his husband Samarth Singh as a "wolf in sheep's clothing." " A former Miss Pune, Twisha, an actress, model, and MBA, was found dead in her marital home in Bhopal just 5 months after her marriage.

Navnidhi claimed to suffer mental harassment and dowry harassment for a long period from Samarth and his mother, retired judge Giribala Singh. He said that the family tends to face problems and has a history of abuse, as his earlier daughter-in-law previously left the family. The father also directed that the postmortem be redone at AIIMS, Delhi, accusing Samarth of being a "major drug addict.

Twisha is said to have messaged her family to say she felt trapped, as a distress call. Samarth and his mother are booked under dowry death and harassment charges by police. Samarth is currently on the “wanted” list with a reward being offered for the information that can be used to arrest him. The case has raised overwhelming anger and strong demands for an 'impartial investigation.'
