Italian dreamer Kimi Antonelli made his debut win in Formula 1 on Sunday with his third consecutive win. With a 19-year-old driver of the Mercedes car, the race started on pole, and the driver fought off hard challenges by the McLaren duo of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri in a fast-paced race that was influenced by unpredictable weather patterns.
Antonelli is the first driver in history to turn his first three career poles into victories and increases his lead in the championship. The teenager has shocked the very large paddock by establishing dominance since the early races, proving himself to be a serious title contender in his first full season in the sport.
Mercedes boasted of a good weekend while its competitors, such as Ferrari and Red Bull, had a bad time keeping pace and running into accidents. As more races lie ahead, there is speculation about whether Antonelli will be able to continue this phenomenal pace and emerge as one of the youngest champions in F1 history.
