The horrendous footage of a man thrown nearly a hundred feet in the air and along with a tin shed by a violent dust storm has spread like wildfire in a village in Bamiyana, Bareilly District, Uttar Pradesh. The incident took place on May 13-14, 2026, during extremely heavy rainfall, which left at least four dead in the area.
Nanhe, the man, was at a local marriage hall where things started to be blown about by strong winds. Some had previously attempted to hold it back, but as the winds increased, most fled for safety. Nanhe kept holding to the rope of the shed and was hoisted up in the air suddenly before being thrown to a nearby maize field.
The man is seen in the dramatic footage managing to flop the metal sheet off in mid-air and then plough down. He lost his fingers and legs in numerous fractures but lived through the horrible experience. Later, in the media, Nanhe described how he struggled and bit his nails to save himself from the strong gust that took him away.
